YAY! we’re slowly but surely getting photos up to the site. This first one is self explanetory. More to follow… Meanwhile, check out our events calendar, listen to some podcasts on the right, or follow the link for some of our videos.

We’ve already had one film screening of the side of this structure and look forward to doing more, especially during Craik’s 100th Birthday celebrations this August.

After one month trying to make our Cdn. Tire purchased power system work properly, we’re taking it back and starting again. The clue for us should have been where we purchased the gear. (sigh)

many of you know though, that for years we were collecting Cdn Tire money for this purpose. We’re thankful still, and are keeping one small portable unit with 30 W panel, but for the main system needs, we’re stepping up a grade or two.

I know we’ve been promising to get pictures up and running here, and that is closer than ever. If only i could locate a critical password… (Shawn shall again come to the rescue soon.)

Some good news is we survived a very chilly May long weekend with friends Gord and Ed who drove out from Edmonton. They had fun freezing their butt off, and plaing a round of golf at the local course. Apparently, it’s recognized by the Audobon Society (sp?) for it’s ecological ways.

And hey! check out the coming events calendar (also from top menu). There’s quick notice there of another movie night, and upcoming Solar Fair here in Craik.

also, first call for ‘Walk for Health’. Tuesday, May 15, 7:00 pm, Craik Old Town Hall.

Please join us if you can in our new home for a li’l house warming on Sat, May 5, 2007, 3 – 7 pm. 340 – 3rd street, aka the old Barnett house- Craik, Saskatchewan.

We have yet to install our solar panel, and power system, but hope to have it up and running by Saturday.

If you do come, bring a sweater. If it’s not nice out, we’ll be inside, and have no heat. Hopefully by end of today we’ll have our leaky pipes fixed and the water turned back on. Either way, we’ll have a real nice time.

Last friday night, we screened a film off the side of the town grain elevator. It was awesome, and we look forward to more of that. Currently in process of selecting films for other screenings here. stay tuned…
