The first Earth Day Film Festival in Craik is only days away. We’re very excited how much enthusiasm it has generated -there will be people coming from all over Saskatchewan as well as Alberta and Manitoba. Many excellent organizations, small businesses, artists and healers have sponsored the event and are participating in the networking fair. The line up of guest speakers is fabulous. With your participation this film festival is sure to be wonderful!

and a modified Green Map to find your way once you arrive because there are two venues. Friday April 25 at Craik’s Eco Centre – 2km east off Hwy 11, Saturday and Sunday April 26, 27, at Craik’s Legion Community Hall, downtown main street.
Bus service available twice daily in both directions, from Regina and Saskatoon. Info: 1-800-663-7181 or http://www.stcbus.com/Â NOTE: the evening bus arrives btwn 6:50 and 6:55 pm. short walk to Legion Hall for Sat or Sun. BUT, if you are taking the bus for friday night, PLEASE call ahead so we can arrange a car pool out to the eco-centre. kelly, 306-734-5160
Admissions: $10 / film or $50 / full festival pass, seniors and students half price. RSVP greatly encouraged, especially if you plan on dinner Friday night at the Eco-Centre. (5:30 pm Green Drinks and supper social, 7:15 pm opening film – The Real Dirt on Farmer John)
Eat Local Saturday and Sunday lunch: homemade vegetarian soups and chillies, etc. $7. The Saturday supper: grass fed roast beef, etc. $10. available at the Community Hall, prepared and served by the Craik Sustainable Living Project. Friday and Saturday, festival sponsor Flo’s Bar and Grill is open from 11:00 am for pizzas, burgers, etc. Breakfast, lunch and supper served at the Solar Garden Restaurant in the Craik Eco-Centre all weekend. The workshop on eating local and going organic should be fun (Sunday 2:00 pm), facilitated by Amy Jo Ehman
