On November 20, 2008, Craik’s Eco-Centre hosted an awards ceremony for the Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE Saskatchewan).
Twenty seven projects from across the RCE region were recognized for contributing to the United Nations decade of education for sustainable development (2005 – 2014). …
Last springs Earth Day Film Festival was recognized for attracting people from around the province. We watched top notch eco-films and took part in dynamic discussions including an Eat Local workshop with Amy Jo Ehman. Festival goers were also treated to some fabulous food provided by some of Craik and Davidson’s wonderful gardeners, farmers and ranchers. Boilingfrog’s, Bridget Haworth and myself, Kelly Reinhardt accepted this honour, and shared plans with those attending for our own eco-showpiece on Craik’s main street – currently under development.
